From the initial challenge through implementation and measurable outcomes.

Challenge

RojiRoty is an India-based online job portal designed to connect job seekers with employers across a wide range of industries and locations. The platform positions itself as a smart, modern alternative to legacy job boards — offering a streamlined experience for both candidates looking for work and employers looking to hire quickly and efficiently.

The client needed more than a basic listing website. They required a full two-sided platform that could serve two very different user groups simultaneously — job seekers browsing and applying for roles, and employers posting vacancies and managing applications — each with their own registration flow, dashboard, and experience. This dual-audience architecture is one of the more technically and structurally complex challenges in web product development.

Beyond the website, the client also required an Android mobile app to reach job seekers where they spend most of their time — on their phones. In India's job market, mobile-first access is not optional; it is the primary channel for a large portion of the workforce.

Key challenges the project needed to address:

  • Designing and developing a two-sided platform serving both job seekers and employers, each requiring separate registration flows, dashboards, and feature sets without the experience of one group interfering with the other.
  • Building a job search and filtering architecture capable of handling listings across multiple industries, job types, locations, and experience levels — without overwhelming first-time visitors.
  • Establishing trust and credibility from day one — a new job portal entering a competitive market needed to look and function at the level of established platforms to drive adoption on both sides.
  • Developing an Android mobile app in parallel with the web platform, ensuring consistent core functionality and user experience across both surfaces.
  • Structuring the employer-facing side with tools for job posting, application management, and candidate review — reducing friction for hiring managers who need a fast, reliable process.
  • Building the platform to scale — as job listings, employers, and registered candidates grow, the architecture needed to support volume without structural rebuilds.

Solution

TekLoyd designed and developed the complete RojiRoty platform — a full-stack job portal website and a companion Android mobile application, built to serve India's job market across both desktop and mobile.

The website was built around two clearly separated user journeys. For job seekers, the platform offers a clean, searchable job listing experience with filters for industry, location, job type, and experience level — allowing candidates to find relevant opportunities quickly without navigating through clutter. For employers, a dedicated posting and management system allows companies to list vacancies, review incoming applications, and manage their hiring pipeline from a single dashboard.

Separate onboarding flows were designed for each user type — reducing friction and getting both job seekers and employers to value as quickly as possible. Job seeker profiles were built with space for work history, skills, and resume uploads. Employer profiles include company information, active job listings, and application management tools.

The Android app was developed in parallel with the web platform, extending the core job seeker experience to mobile. The app covers job browsing, search and filtering, profile management, and job application submission — ensuring that candidates who primarily use smartphones can access the full platform without switching to desktop.

Additional platform elements built include:

  • A location-aware job search allowing candidates to browse opportunities by city, region, or remote — critical for India's geographically diverse job market.
  • Category and industry-based navigation covering sectors from IT and engineering to sales, healthcare, education, and skilled trades.
  • A structured employer registration and verification flow, building credibility and ensuring job seekers are applying to legitimate listings.
  • A responsive web design system ensuring the website delivers a consistent experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers — complementing the dedicated Android app.
  • Application tracking for job seekers — allowing candidates to monitor which roles they have applied to and the status of each application.
  • A scalable backend architecture designed to support a growing volume of listings, employers, and registered users without requiring structural changes to the codebase.
  • The Android app is currently in the testing phase ahead of its official launch on the Google Play Store.

Results

  • A fully operational two-sided job portal launched at rojiroty.com — serving both job seekers and employers with dedicated flows, dashboards, and application management tools.
  • Separate onboarding experiences for candidates and hiring managers work smoothly, allowing both user groups to register, browse, and connect without friction.
  • Job search and filtering architecture supports listings across multiple industries, job types, locations, and experience levels — built to scale as listing volume grows.
  • The platform is live and actively accepting registrations from both job seekers and employers across India.
  • An Android mobile app has been developed in parallel and is currently in the testing phase ahead of its official Google Play Store launch — extending the platform's reach to mobile-first job seekers.
  • The website and app share a consistent core experience, ensuring candidates can move between platforms without relearning the product.
  • The platform is built to scale — new job categories, employer tiers, and regional expansions can be added without structural changes to the existing codebase.
  • Upon Play Store launch, RojiRoty will have a complete cross-platform presence — website and Android app — giving the portal the reach and accessibility required to compete in India's digital job market.
